On Jan. 5, 2026, just before 3:40 p.m., HPD officers responded to a report of a deceased female at a residence on Ala Moana Boulevard.
Officers located an adult female and an adult male, in their 60’s, inside the apartment. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates the woman sustained a fatal gunshot wound. A firearm was recovered. There is no indication of a threat to the public.
HPD’s Homicide Detail is investigating. The investigation is ongoing.
