HPD Attends Ceremony to Honor Retired Solo Bike Officer Kalani Simerson

Retired Solo Bike Officer Kalani Simerson, a dedicated member of the Honolulu Police Department with 25 years of service, medically retired after an accident while escorting U.S. President John F. Kennedy. Recently, he was honored with a certificate, acknowledging his outstanding service and contributions to the department and the community. The presentation was made even more special with the presence of the HPD Solo Bike Detail and Commanders of the Traffic Division, who assisted in the ceremony, highlighting the respect and admiration held for Officer Simerson by his colleagues.
