On January 10, 2026, at approximately 10:40 p.m., HPD officers observed gunfire coming from a moving vehicle in the Kalihi Valley Homes area.
The vehicle was stopped by District 5 Crime Reduction Unit at Mayor Wright Homes Two adult males were detained.
A 14-year-old boy was struck and was treated and transported to an area hospital.
Both suspects were arrested for Attempted Murder and Reckless Endangering. The passenger was also arrested for Place to Keep.
