On Nov. 11, 2025, Honolulu Police Department (HPD) Homicide Detectives obtained a Warrant of Arrest for Clarence Luke in connection with the murder of Jonnaven Monalim, who had previously been reported missing.
Detectives worked closely with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney, and the warrant was approved by a judge. Bail was set at $1,000,000.
On Nov. 12, 2025, at approximately 8 a.m., the Criminal Investigation Division’s Strategic Enforcement Detail, with assistance from District 3’s Crime Reduction Unit, located the suspect in Waipahu and arrested him for Murder in the Second Degree.
Charges will be sought with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
