On Jan. 21, 2026, at approximately 10:30 a.m., District 4 patrol officers responded to a domestic incident in Kailua.
A 34-year-old woman was assaulted while attempting to leave a residence. The suspect used physical force and assaulted her to prevent her from leaving, causing her to sustain injuries. The victim escaped and called police.
A 32-year-old man was arrested for Kidnapping.
The victim was treated at a hospital.
