  • District 8 Officers Join Community for Traffic Safety Awareness at Kalanianaʻole Beach Park

Last week, at Kalanianaʻole Beach Park, officers from the District 8 Community Policing Team joined State Representative Darius Kila, along with the Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation, the Mahelona ʻOhana, Safe & Sound Westside, and community members like Back Da Blue Hawaiʻi . The shared mission for this sign-waving event was clear: protecting our community through traffic safety awareness. 🚔🛣️

When stakeholders and the community unite, we don’t just talk about safety—we build it together. Slow down. Stay alert. Save lives, not seconds. 🚦🤝
