Our District 6 Community Policing Officers regularly cruise Waikīkī on bicycles so that they can easily maneuver from the roadways to the beaches and meet people where they are. In addition to checking and being visible in areas needing extra attention, they take the time to speak with visitors, locals, and our unhoused community members to offer them assistance and connect them to resources. All in a day’s work, which often doesn’t feel like work when you do what you love. #CommunityFirst
