District 6 Community Policing officers hosted a Coffee with a Cop at McDonald’s on Kalākaua Avenue, giving community members a chance to meet Major Paul Okamoto and the Waikīkī officers, ask questions, and share concerns in a relaxed setting. Interim Deputy Chief Ryan Nishibun, Assistant Chief Elgin Arquero, and State Senator Sharon Moriwaki also joined to support the event.
Events like this help strengthen trust, build real relationships, and keep the lines of communication open between officers and the community they serve. Mahalo to everyone who stopped by to talk story and connect with us. ☕️👮♂️
Together, we’re building a stronger and safer Waikīkī. 🤝🌺 #CommunityPolicing #CoffeeWithACop #Waikiki #CommunityFirst #Mahalo
