District 4 Officers Promote Pedestrian Safety Through Sign-Waving Events

  • 🚸 Recently, officers from the District 4 Community Policing Team joined three separate sign-waving events to promote pedestrian safety! 🙌 👟 At Kailua Intermediate, officers teamed up with students to address concerns about yielding to pedestrians, speeding, and distracted driving during busy school hours. 🚦 Another day at Kuʻulei Rd & Aulike St, students and community members joined in to remind drivers to yield for pedestrians and drive with aloha. 🚗 In Kāneʻohe, at Kamehameha Hwy & Haʻikū Rd, the Aliʻi Shores Neighborhood Security Watch worked alongside officers to urge drivers to slow down and don’t speed.
