Update on September 26, 2024: CrimeStoppers, the Honolulu Police Department and the Hawaiian Humane Society would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying a female suspect who was wanted for Cruelty to Animals in the Second Degree case that happened on Upai Street in the Waipahu area.
On Thursday, September 26, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., investigators from the Hawaiian Humane Society and HPD officers were able to locate and identify a 49 year old female on Upai Street who was captured on video surveillance hitting a dog. She was issued a criminal summons and given a court date. The dog was taken into protective custody to the Hawaiian Humane Society shelter.

On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at approximately 7:53 a.m., an unknown female was captured on video surveillance hitting a dog numerous times.
