CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating witnesses to an attempted murder in the second degree that happened in the Waianae area.

On Sunday, May 16, 2021, at approximately 12:20 a.m., HPD officers responded to a call of gun shots being fired in the area of 87-1029 Hakimo Road. Upon their arrival, they ascertained that a 53-year-old male and a 30-year-old male had been shot. Both males were transported to an area hospital for treatment of their gunshot wounds.
