Update: CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying a male who was wanted for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.
On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at approximately 11:33 a.m., after HPD Detectives conducted an extensive investigation, a 19 year old male was located in the Downtown area and placed under arrest for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and numerous firearm offenses. Charges are pending.

On Friday, August 9, 2024, at approximately 3:34 p.m., the victim was about to exit the bus on Kam IV Road at North School Street when Suspect #1 fired one shot from a handgun, which hit the victim in the upper-right chest. Suspect #1 then fled to an awaiting blue scooter, operated by Suspect #2, and fled west on North School Street.
