CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male who is wanted for an Attempted Kidnapping that happened in the Waipio area.

On Thursday, November 9, 2023, at approximately 6:26 p.m., a juvenile female was sitting inside of her family’s vehicle which was parked at the Waipio Costco parking lot. An unknown male knocked on the exterior of the vehicle at which time the juvenile unlocked the door thinking that it was her mother. The male opened the door and attempted to abduct the juvenile but she was able to fight off the male who then fled in an unknown direction.
