Collisions Involving Serious Bodily Injury Suspect
On Saturday, March 9, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., a red pickup truck was traveling westbound on Farrington Highway. Near the entrance to Mokuleia Trail, two males were standing behind a parked blue pickup truck on Farrington Highway. The red pickup truck collided head-on with the parked blue pickup truck, pushing the blue pickup truck against the two males and pinning them against a tree.
As a result of the collision, one of the males sustained bodily injury, and the other male sustained serious bodily injury. The operator of the red pickup truck abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot without stopping to provide information or render aid. Witnesses to this collision are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.
DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT – Unknown Caucasian male, 18 to 25 years old, 5’6” to 5’8”, thin build, short hair, tattoo on upper left arm and shoulder, wearing a tank top and black shorts.
DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT VEHICLE – red Dodge Dakota pickup truck, Hawai’i license plate NYF 223
