District 8 CPT and Neighborhood Security Watch Groups Partner to Promote Road Safety in Kapolei

District 8 Community Policing officers partnered with Neighborhood Security Watch groups in Kapolei to promote traffic and e-bike/e-motorcycle safety. Hawaii Representative Diamond Garcia also participated, joining in the efforts to educate community members on safe practices and shared road responsibility through sign-waving and public engagement. 🚴‍♂️

During the event, a group of youths on e-bikes joined in. One shared his experience of being arrested for using an illegal e-bike but now rides a legal one.
