Officers recently completed IPMBA (International Police Mountain Bike Association) Bicycle Instructor Training and a three-day Bicycle Response Team course. This was the first IPMBA Bicycle Response Team course ever held in Hawaiʻi. Led by active-duty police sergeants from Ohio and Oklahoma, the training included classroom instruction, hands-on skills, and rigorous testing to prepare officers for real-world responses.

Mahalo to the District 6 Community Policing Team for coordinating the training, and to the Major Events Division, Fourth Watch officers, and the Honolulu Emergency Services Department for their support. Ongoing training like this helps build stronger partnerships and keeps our communities safer every day. 🤝🌺
