Traffic Division Honors Azalia Park with Sign-Waving and Checkpoint

December 22, 2025

  • Traffic Division Honors Azalia Park with Sign-Waving and Checkpoint. Over the weekend, officers from the Traffic Division partnered with SafeRide Hawaiʻi, MADD Hawaiʻi, and the Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition Hawaiʻi for a sign-waving event in remembrance of Azalia Park, a victim of impaired driving in December 2020. Officers then conducted a sobriety checkpoint in the area, where sober drivers were thanked with a gift from MADD Hawaiʻi for choosing to drive sober. 🚗💙 Remember, making good decisions affects us all and helps ensure safer roads for everyone. 🌟 #SaferRoadsTogether #DriveWithAloha #SafeEveryMile
