💜 Our District 8 Community Officers spent the morning and lunchtime at Nānākuli High & Intermediate School (NHIS) for a SHINE mentoring event last month. In the morning, students and families were greeted with encouraging messages on signs and snacks during drop-off. During lunch, officers laughed and played group games with the students. Moments like these help our keiki see past the badge and know we’re here for them. A big mahalo to Kaui Asinsin, NHIS Community School Coordinator, for spearheading this monthly initiative and including us! 🌟 #Community #Shine
