Honolulu Police Department (HPD) officers executed a search warrant on an illegal gambling establishment on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, resulting in one arrest and the seizure of multiple gaming machines and cash.
At approximately 5 p.m., the Narcotics/Vice Division Gambling Detail, with assistance from the District 8 Crime Reduction Unit, Forfeiture Detail, Aerial Operations Group, and the Specialized Services Division, served a search warrant at a business located near Old Fort Weaver Road.
During the operation, officers recovered 18 gambling machines with an estimated combined value of $155,000, along with $5,037 in cash.
A 46-year-old male from the Honolulu area and an employee at the location was arrested for Promoting Gambling in the Second Degree and Possession of a Gambling Device. The arrest was made without incident.
