‘EWA BEACH – On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, just after 6:30 p.m., District 8 patrol officers responded with the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) to a house fire on Fort Weaver Road.
Four adult females, ages 28, 31, 53, and 56 were able to escape the fire. Two females suffered from burns and were treated and transported to the hospital.
After the fire was extinguished, human remains were discovered. The decedent is believed to be a 93-year-old female. Her official identification will be released by the Office of the Medical Examiner.
An unattended death case has been initiated, and the investigation is ongoing.
The cause of the fire will be determined by HFD.
