Update July 5, 2023 – CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Vito Tuie who was wanted for Escape in the Second Degree. On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at approximately 12:49 p.m., HPD officers located Tuie in the Nimitz area and placed him under arrest.

News Release July, 3, 2023 – CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Vito Tuie who is wanted for Escape in the Second Degree. On Friday, June 30, 2023, at approximately 6:22 p.m., Tuie escaped from the Kahe Mohala Facility then fled south on Fort Weaver Road.
