E-Bike & E-Dirt Bike Operation in Kapolei and ‘Ewa Leads to Citations, Warnings, and E-Dirt Bike Recoveries

On November 11, District 8 Support Unit officers carried out an enforcement operation in the Kapolei and ‘Ewa areas. During the operation, officers issued 16 citations for no registration and no safety check, along with one citation for a motorcycle rider carrying a passenger under the age of seven. They also issued nine warnings and recovered six e-dirt bikes.

High-speed e-dirt bikes are illegal on public roads due to the safety risks they pose. Riders are reminded to stay safe and keep these vehicles on designated trails only.
