Acting Chief Okimoto Reviews PSO


On Thursday, June 29, 2017, Acting Police Chief Cary Okimoto conducted his review of the Professional Standards Office (PSO).

The PSO is tasked with ensuring the integrity of the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) by conducting fair and impartial investigations into allegations of police misconduct.

Every division of the HPD is reviewed yearly to ensure that officers are up to date on their training and certification requirements.
