RESPONSIBILITIES
When a request to search for a fugitive is received
from another jurisdiction, the Criminal Investigation

Based on the fugitive’s offense, the search and the
case shall be referred to the appropriate investigative element.
When a fugitive is apprehended and his or her identity
is established, before an arrest or any other action is
initiated, the agency requesting the apprehension shall be contacted.
The CID will be responsible for the court hearings
and documents needed for extradition.
