On April 12, 2026, at approximately 2:58 a.m., District 1 patrol officers responded to a report of a fight involving multiple individuals fronting a nightclub on Kapi‘olani Boulevard.

During the incident, a male was observed displaying a firearm. Officers arrived and detained the suspect after a brief foot pursuit.

The suspect, a 19-year-old male, was arrested. A firearm without a serial number was recovered. The suspect was also wearing a court-ordered ankle monitor related to a prior case.

HPD will seek to have his monitoring status revoked and have him taken back into custody.

The investigation is ongoing, and charges will be sought with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
