Volunteers in Mililani recently collaborated to clean and repaint the Rainbow Tunnel. This initiative, led by the Honolulu Police Department (HPD), is a joint project involving the Mililani Town Association and motivated students from Mililani High School. The primary goal of this joint effort was to restore the tunnel, a cherished local landmark, which had been defaced by graffiti. Volunteers diligently worked to remove the graffiti and apply fresh coats of paint, embodying the spirit of community and pride. This restoration project not only aims to enhance the tunnel’s appearance but also to preserve its significance for future generations, ensuring it continues to be a vibrant symbol of Mililani.
