February 24, 1971

On February 24, 1971, the body of 54-year-old Eleanor May Brusenbach was discovered in a cane field off West Lock Road in Ewa. Investigation revealed that she had been strangled and possibly sexually assaulted. Brusenbach was last seen the previous night at the CPO Club on Naval Station Pearl Harbor and may have gone to The Dunes on Nimitz Highway, in the early morning hours.
