Collisions Involving Substantial Bodily Injury Suspect

On Sunday, August 4, 2024, at approximately 1:12 a.m., a vehicle with unknown license plates traveling northbound on Makakilo Drive after Farrington Highway struck a pedestrian and fled the scene without stopping to render aid or provide information. The adult male pedestrian was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center Punchbowl with substantial bodily injury. Debris that was found showed a possible vehicle of a white 2017 to 2020 Hyundai Elantra with possible front-end damage.

Any witnesses to this collision are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.
