Collisions Involving Bodily Injury

On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at approximately 10:40 a.m., a Honda CR-V was stopped waiting to make a right turn when it was rear ended by a silver Lexus four-door sedan. The male driver of the Lexus got out of the vehicle and spoke with the driver of the Honda. Both drivers decided to pull to the side out of traffic. The male driver of the silver Lexus returned to his vehicle and fled the scene northbound on Ala Aolani Street without providing information. A partial Hawaii license plate of “WJC” was provide by the driver of the Honda. Any information as to the identification of the male or the silver Lexus are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicle Homicide Section.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT – Unknown Filipino male, 20s, 5’6” to 5’7”, thin build, short curly black hair, short black mustache, brown complexion, sleeve tattoos on both arms, wearing a black shirt, shorts.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT VEHICLE – silver Lexus four-door sedan, partial Hawaii license plate “WJC”
