Collisions Involving Death or Serious Bodily Injury Suspect

On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at approximately 4:25 p.m., a male pedestrian was crossing Kapiolani Boulevard south to north between Piikoi Street and Kona Iki Street. The male pedestrian was outside of a marked crosswalk and was struck by a male operating a maroon colored vehicle. The maroon vehicle was traveling eastbound on Kapiolani Boulevard and left the scene without rendering aid or providing their information. The maroon colored vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on Kapiolani Boulevard towards Kona Iki Street.

Witnesses to this collision as asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.
