Robbery Suspect

On Sunday, October 15, 2023, at approximately 5:48 a.m., a male suspect on a moped approached an elderly couple on their way to church on Fort Street Mall and Chaplain Lane. The male suspect sprayed the female victim with pepper spray and took her purse. The victim’s husband attempted to stop the male suspect, but he, too, was sprayed by the male suspect who fled the area in an unknown direction.
