Collisions Involving Bodily Injury

On Monday, September 11, 2023, at approximately 2:55 p.m., a pedestrian was crossing westbound in a marked crosswalk fronting 2301 Pauoa Road. The vehicle, traveling southbound on Pauoa Road, sideswiped the pedestrian. The operator of the vehicle stopped her vehicle to apologize but did not provide any information or render aid. The pedestrian sustained bodily injury to her left leg and refused medical treatment at the scene. Any witnesses to this collision are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.

DESCRIPTION OF PERSON OF INTEREST – Unknown Chinese female, 60 to 70 years old, 5’0” to 5’2”, 100 to 120 lbs., slim build, black straight hair, and medium complexion.

DESCRIPTION OF VEHICLE OF INTEREST – white sports utility vehicle.
