Collisions Involving Bodily Injury Suspect

On Thursday, August 17, 2023, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., a female was crossing Saratoga Road from east to west. The female was in a marked crosswalk located in front of the restaurant named “Eggs ‘n Things.” Parked partially upon the crosswalk was a transit van. As the female walked behind the transit van, it reversed and collided with the female, causing her to fall to the ground. The operator of the transit van left the scene without rendering aid or providing their information. The transit van was last seen traveling northbound on Saratoga Road onto Kalaimoku Street.

Witnesses to this collision are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.
