Robbery Suspect

On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at approximately 6:46 p.m., a male suspect entered the Sunglass Hut on Kalakaua Avenue and browsed around the store. When the store emptied, the male suspect approached the sales associate and inquired about a pair of glasses before presenting a demand note. The associate complied with the demand note and turned over money from the register. The male suspect then fled the store on foot towards Helumoa Street.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT – Unknown African American male, 6’0”, 180 lbs., thin build, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, maroon baseball cap, and red athletic shoes.
