Robbery Suspect

On Thursday, May 18, 2023, at approximately 4:15 a.m., the complainant was sitting outside a 7-Eleven store on Kalakaua Avenue when a male suspect approached, demanded the complainant’s mobile phone, threatened physical force, and slapped the complainant in the head. The complainant gave the male suspect the item from his pockets and his backpack containing his mobile phone. The male then fled the area on a bicycle. At approximately 6:05 a.m., the male returned and demanded the mobile phone passcode. The suspect brandished a knife and threatened to kill the complainant if he did not give him the passcode. The complainant gave the male suspect the passcode, and the suspect fled the area on a bicycle.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT – Unknown Polynesian male, 30s, 5’9”, 220 lbs., medium build, brown complexion, short black hair, wearing a green jacket, black t-shirt, dark shorts, black slippers, black backpack, and riding a small silver bicycle.
