Collisions Involving Bodily Injury Person of Interest

On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at approximately 3:50 p.m., the bus was traveling eastbound in the number three lane on South Beretania Street. The witness vehicle was traveling eastbound in the number four lane on South Beretania Street. Approximately 117 feet east of Punchbowl Street, the witness vehicle cut in front of the bus. This caused the bus to make an abrupt stop. There was no contact made between the bus and the witness vehicle. As a result of this incident, three passengers aboard the bus sustained suspected minor injuries to their head and/or back. All passengers refused medical treatment at the scene. The bus operator did not sustain any injuries. The witness vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide any information or render aid.
