Collision Involving Substantial Bodily Injury

On Friday, May 26, 2023, at approximately 7:25 p.m., a male bicyclist was traveling eastbound on Kahanamoku Street behind a white sedan. As the white sedan made a left turn, the bicyclist had to swerve left to avoid rear-ending the sedan but subsequently collided with the sedan’s front bumper. As a result of the collision, the bicyclist, was ejected onto the roadway and suffered injuries to his legs and feet. The operator of the white s3edan left the scene without rendering aid or exchanging information.
