Robbery Suspect
On Saturday, May 6, 2023, at approximately 2:49 a.m., the victim entered the elevator at the Waikiki Banyan Hotel. A male suspect entered the elevator after the victim. When the elevator doors closed, the male punched the victim in the face, causing the victim to fall to the ground and blackout. The male suspect reached into the victim’s pockets and took the victim’s wallet, containing an Alaska State Driver’s license and multiple credit cards. The elevator doors opened, and the male suspect fled on foot. Surveillance footage revealed that the male suspect had been following the victim on foot to the elevator prior to the attack.
DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT – Caucasian male, 20s to 30s, dirty blond hair, medium build, 5’10” to 6’0″, fair complexion, ran with a “Limp”, tattoo front left calve, tattoos on the back of both calves, wearing a dark colored ball cap, dark colored jacket, dark colored shorts, and gray or light colored shoes.
