Collisions Involving Bodily Injury Suspect

On Monday, March 27, 2023, at approximately 9:00 a.m., a City and County of Honolulu Bus was traveling eastbound on Kapiolani Boulevard in the far right lane. Fronting the area of 1009 Kapiolani Boulevard, an unknown gray or silver Toyota 4Runner is traveling in the middle lane of Kapiolani Boulevard when it suddenly cuts in front of the bus to turn into a parking structure. The bus had to conduct a hard braking in order to avoid colliding with the 4Runner. This causes a male passenger on the bus to fall out of his seat and onto the ground. The passenger sustained abrasions to both knees. Any information as to this identification of the vehicle or driver are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.
