Collisions Involving Substantial Bodily Injury Suspect

On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at approximately 7:36 p.m., a 2003 blue Yamaha Road Warrior motorcycle, was traveling southbound on Tantalus Drive. At about 300 feet north of Aliamanu Place, swerved to avoid an unknown witness vehicle, described as a light-colored sedan that was traveling northbound and veered into the path of the 2003 blue Yamaha Road Warrior motorcycle. As a result, lost control and struck the unimproved sidewalk area. Following the collision, the witness vehicle fled the scene without providing any information or rendering any aid. Any witnesses to this collision or anyone able to identify the operator are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT VEHICLE – light-colored sedan, possibly white or gray, with no hubcaps, ripped tint, and an antenna on the hood.
