Collisions Involving Bodily Injury Suspect

On Friday, January 27, 2023, at approximately 1:25 p.m., a pedestrian walked northbound on the sidewalk fronting the Grand Islander hotel near the entrance ramp on Kalia Road. A dark colored SUV traveled northbound on Kalia Road, made an illegal left turn, and entered the parking ramp. The mirror of the SUV collided with the pedestrian’s left arm causing pain but didn’t have any visible injuries. The SUV fled up the parking ramp without rendering aid or stopping to provide information. Any witnesses to this collision are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.
