Robbery Suspect

On Monday, March 21, 2022, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a male entered the Times Supermarket in Waimalu, selected merchandise, concealed it within his backpack, and proceeded to pass the open and manned registers without making payment. A loss prevention officer stopped the male outside of the store, identified himself, and was pushed by the male causing him to fall to the ground, and incurred injuries. The male then fled southbound on Kaahumanu Street riding a white moped.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT – Unknown local male, 30s, 5’6″ to 5’8″, 140 to 160 lbs., tan complexion, black short hair, brown eyes, wearing a black jacket, black pants, carrying a blue backpack, skull helmet with Aloha and Hawaii Island decals

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT VEHICLE – white GT Rio moped, Unknown license plate.
