Attempted Theft Suspect (Catalytic Converter)

On Saturday, March 12, 2022, at approximately 6:45 p.m., a male attempted to remove the catalytic converter off of a Chevy van belonging to Waikele Elementary School, but was unsuccessful after being confronted by a passerby.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT – Unknown male, medium build, fair complexion, wearing a brown beanie, maroon hoodie, blue denim pants, black shoes, black face mask, red backpack, and carrying a large green duffle type bag.
