Collision Involving Bodily Injury
On Thursday, March 3, 2022, at approximately 7:30 a.m., a pedestrian was pulling a wagon in a marked crosswalk on Waipahu Street and walking towards Hene Street. A driver in a light brown Toyota vehicle was traveling eastbound on Waipahu Street, entered the intersection on a red traffic signal, collided with the pedestrian’s wagon, caused the pedestrian to fall onto the pavement, and the pedestrian sustain bodily injuries. The vehicle fled the scene without providing aid and necessary information for a motor vehicle collision. Any witnesses to this collision are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.
