Accidents Involving Bodily Injury Person of Interest

On Friday, February 25, 2022, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a female pedestrian was walking northbound within the crosswalk at the intersection of Ala Wai Boulevard and McCully Street against the red (Don’t Walk) traffic signal. A newer model silver Toyota Tacoma, was traveling westbound on Ala Wai Boulevard and collided into the pedestrian causing substantial bodily injuries. The vehicle continued westbound or to render aid. Witnesses to this collision are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.
