Failure to Render Aid

On Thursday, December 2, 2021, at approximately 6:30 a.m., a male victim was standing on the shoulder area of Kalanianaole Highway when he was struck by a vehicle. The victim stated he was struck on the right side hip area (possibly from the side view mirror). The victim was knocked to the ground and subsequently suffered minor injuries and abrasions. The vehicle did not stop to render aid or provide information. The victim described the vehicle as being gray in color. Any information as to the identification of the vehicle or the driver are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.
