Accidents Involving Bodily Injury
On Saturday, May 15, 2021, at approximately 6:20 p.m., a vehicle was traveling eastbound in the middle lane on North Nimitz Highway. Approximately 1,095 feet east of Ahua Street, the vehicle rear-ended a moped traveling in the same lane and direction. A 61 year old male operator of the moped was ejected upon impact and sustained bodily injury. Following the collision, the unknown operator of the vehicle did not stop to provide information or render aid. Witnesses to this collision are asked to call the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section.
VEHICLE AND OPERATOR OF INTEREST – The vehicle of interest is of an unknown make and model. The description of the vehicle’s operator is also unknown at this time.
