Staff at the Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC) recently invited HPD officers for a meet-and-greet and tour of the Honolulu facility for an Appreciation Day. The BHCC is a valuable community resource and partner, assisting officers with MH-1 cases, and further providing critical support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. This partnership strengthens the department’s ability to provide a compassionate and effective response, thereby creating a safer and stronger community.
