Illegal Game Room Search Warrant Execution - Honolulu Police Department

This week, the HPD’s Narcotics/Vice Division, assisted by the District 5 Crime Reduction Unit and the Specialized Services Division, executed search warrants at two separate illegal game rooms.

On Monday, July 28, 2025, at approximately 5 p.m., officers served a search warrant at an illegal gambling operation on Kahaha Street in Kalihi. Inside, they found 20 gambling machines, $3,615 in cash, and illicit drugs. A 29-year-old male was arrested for Promoting Gambling in the Second Degree and Possession of a Gambling Device.

Two days later, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, officers executed another warrant at an illegal game room on Wanaka Street in Salt Lake. They discovered 18 gambling machines, $4,354 in cash, and illicit drugs.
