Illegal Gambling Operation Bust Near Kawaiahao Street: HPD Recovers Gambling Machines, Cash, and Drugs

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the Honolulu Police Department executed a search warrant at an illegal gambling room near Kawaiahao St. at approximately 4:30 p.m. Officers recovered 16 gambling machines, $5,222 in cash, and possible drugs. During the search, two suspects were arrested for Promoting Gambling in the 2nd degree, Possession of a Gambling Device, and other drug related charges. One suspect was arrested for Contempt of Court.
